- Finish in the welcoming village of Drymen, at the south-eastern edge of Loch Lomond.

- Leave Drymen and pass through Garadhban Forest.
- Choose between climbing Conic Hill (361m) for panoramic views or taking the lower-level route.
- Descend to Balmaha on the shores of Loch Lomond.

- End the day in the tranquil lochside setting of Rowardennan.
